Massanutten Expansion Progress: A Strong Foundation for the Future
The expansion of Massanutten Resort’s hotel and waterpark is well underway, marking a significant step in enhancing the guest experience at one of Virginia’s most popular destinations. As part of this exciting project, Harman Construction has been working diligently alongside Rockingham Ready Mix and Stoneway Construction in the early stages to lay the groundwork for what’s to come.
A Multi-Stage Concrete Pour
To support this expansion, our team recently completed a major milestone—a three-part concrete slab pour. With 209 cubic yards of concrete already placed, followed by an additional 100 cubic yards in the second phase, and a third round adding another 100 cubic yards, this foundation will serve as the structural base for the future development.
This phase of construction is essential in ensuring stability and longevity for the expanded resort space. Every cubic yard poured reflects the precision and coordination of our dedicated crew, working in sync to bring this vision to life.
Looking Toward 2026
Massanutten Resort’s goal is to open this expansion by 2026, offering visitors a larger and more connected experience. This is not our only project at Massanutten. Harman Construction is contributing to multiple developments, including the well-anticipated mountain coaster, helping to enhance the resort’s recreational offerings as well as a new timeshare sales building.
